For Coat Weight Gauge systems where there does not exist any previous O-frame, or a complete new O-frame scanner is desired, SenTek provides a sealed steel-tube scanning O-frame.

Our O-frame scanner is built to withstand the rough environment of steel mills and coating lines, and has no moving parts exposed to the outside environment.
SenTek's O-frame scanner includes stretch-free poly-chain drive belts for long life and permanent alignment. A break-away bracket protects the permanent alignment in the event of a strip buckle being pulled between the sensors.
All of the mechanical drive components in SenTek's O-frame Scanner are standard, off-the-shelf commercially available parts with a heavy-duty rating and and long service life.
